2. How do I use my savings?
Create an account with a login and password of your choice. Search by destination for the hotel or resort that you are looking for. There are approximately 400,000 hotels around the world to choose from. Your savings will be displayed with each search result. (Results with the greatest savings are displayed first.) Make your reservation and the amount that you save will be deducted from your Savings Balance.
3. Where do I activate my savings?
Just go to www.ASmarterWayToTravel.com/ plus the username of the person who referred you to A Smarter Way to Travel. Examples: www.ASmarterWayToTravel.com/michael or www.ASmarterWayToTravel.com/susan. Be sure to use the correct username when you send people to A Smarter Way to Travel. That's how you get credit for generating a new customer.
4. How do the savings work?
Deduct savings from your Balance to arrive at your exclusive price. If there are more savings available after applying your Savings Balance, you can always buy more savings at a huge discount! Each deal is backed by our best price guarantee.
5. Can I use my Savings at the hotel to pay for meals or other items?
Your Savings is only able to be used to save money on the accommodations. Your Savings cannot be used at the hotel.
6. What hotels and resorts are available in the savings program?
With over 400,000 hotels and resorts available through our savings engine, you will find familiar brands and hotels around the world.
7. Can I buy additional savings?
Yes! You can buy additional savings by clicking the "Learn How" button to the right of your travel search listings.
8. Can I give my savings to friends or family members?
No. You can't share YOUR Travel Savings account, but you can give you friends and family THEIR own FREE $100 Travel Savings account by sending them to www.ASmarterWayToTravel.com/{your username}. Replace {your username} with the username you created for your account.
9. Can I use the entire amount of my savings towards my reservation?
Yes, if the amount of savings for the selected hotel or resort is equal to the amount of your Savings Balance, the entire amount will be applied to your reservation automatically. You can also buy more Travel Savings by clicking the "Learn How" button to the right of your search listings.
10. How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
There is no timeline required. You can start booking your next trip today!
11. How many times can I use my savings?
You can use your savings as many times as you like prior to the expiration or until you exhaust your Savings Balance, whichever comes first. But you can always purchase additional savings.
12. Is there a minimum stay required?
No. There is no minimum stay required. You can stay for one night if you want.
13. What if I don't have enough savings to make a reservation?
No problem. Regardless of the balance on your Savings Balance, you can always make a reservation through the website. The balance determines the amount of savings that you can apply to your reservation. If your Savings Balance is zero, you can still make a reservation, however you will not be able to apply savings to that reservation until you purchase additional discounted savings.
14. Is there a minimum booking purchase amount?
No, there is no minimum booking purchase amount.
15. Are there any blackout dates?
No. There are no blackout days.
16. Are there any restrictions?
You must be an adult to create an account and book travel. Other than that, there are no restrictions.
17. Does my savings expire?
Yes it does. However, it is not our intention to have your savings expire. We use long expiration date to encourage you to use your savings to make a reservation and enjoy your savings. Your savings are good for eighteen (18) months once it has been activated. You have the ability to track your account balance and expiration date in the My Account section once your savings has been activated.
18. Is this a free trip?
No. There is still a portion of your trip/reservation that you must pay for. The amount that you are required to pay is the amount not covered by your savings.
19. Can I combine coupons with my savings?
No. Coupons are not allowed to be combined with the savings.
20. Is this a Gift Card?
No. The savings is not a Gift Card. The savings allows you to apply the savings balance to the hotels and resorts that are available in the savings platform.
21. Are there any additional fees?
Taxes and reservation fees are included in the price of your reservation. Resort fees, hotel parking and incidental charges if any, are displayed in the Terms and Conditions of the reservation and will be collected by the hotel/resort. There are no other fees to make a reservation or to access the savings platform.
22. What if I want to change or cancel my reservation?
Cancellation policies will vary depending on the particular hotel or resort you chose. The cancellation and change policies can be found in the terms and conditions on the booking page and your reservation confirmation.
23. Can I change or cancel my reservation? Is my reservation refundable?
Each result in your search will have its own refund/cancellation/change policy. Be sure to read and understand the policy before booking. Some reservations booked on the website cannot be changed or modified once booked, but may be cancelled per the Terms and Conditions. Cancelled reservations may incur a cancellation fee but any savings used for the booking will not be applied to the Savings Bank Balance.
24. Can I use my savings on other websites?
No. The savings available through your savings is only available by making a reservation through www.ASmarterWayToTravel.com.
25. Can I use my hotel loyalty points with my savings?
Not at this time, but you can find tremendous Travel Savings through our booking engine and save the loyalty points for future use.
26. Can I redeem the unused balance?
No. Your Savings Balance program has no cash value outside of this savings program.
27. Do I have to use my ALL my savings balance on one reservation?
No. The savings system is flexible enough to allow you to use your entire Savings Balance on one reservation or multiple reservations. The amount that you can apply to each reservation is determined by the parameters of your search and the savings available through the hotels and resorts that you choose.
28. How long do I have to wait before my reservations are confirmed?
All of the inventory in the system is live and available to make a reservation. Once your credit card is charged, your reservation is confirmed.
29. What happens to the leftover Savings Balance?
The remaining amount in your Savings Balance will remain in your account until your next reservation or until the savings expire, whichever comes first.
30. Is there a phone number that I can call?
Once you make your reservation, you will receive a reservation confirmation email that includes the phone number for Customer Service.
31. What do I do if I have a question?
